I went to JC Spa for the first time and found it quite distinctive in appearance, with all-new furnishings. I was drawn in by Vicky, whose exceptional skills deserved praise. I even gave her a red envelope for Chinese New Year as a thank you for the fantastic massage. I’m thinking of going back to experience their Turkish bubble massage!
I’ve been to this place a couple of times, first a few months back and then again two weeks ago, and my opinion hasn’t changed. It’s more expensive than nearby options, which are not only easier to find but offer the same services without the extra cost. They seem to rely heavily on attracting customers with pictures of attractive therapists, which feels a bit misleading and suggests they might be prioritizing appearance over quality, justifying higher prices. If that’s your thing, fine, but you can find equally welcoming and clean spots right around the corner. For what they charge, you might as well try the Japanese place nearby; it’s pricey too but feels more genuine. Giving them one star mainly because booking an appointment is easier here than at other places.
The cost of the massage is steep at $128 for a 60-minute “JC 4 in 1” massage. The experience was decent but didn’t quite hit the mark of being exceptional.
Elaine is really skilled! The shop is brand new and spotless. However, it gets a bit dim there in the evening.
